A fine quality small size English late Victorian mahogany 8-day triple weight driven quarter striking on 8-bells grandmother clock (Regulator) by Commander, Leamington with dead-beat escapement and maintaining power, the substantial mahogany and boxwood inlayed case, inlayed with baskets of flowers and foliage to the rectangular door and base, the 8-day quarter striking 8-bell movement with striking for Whittington / Westminster chimes on 4 or 8 bells with tune selection lever to the top left dial and strike / silent to the top right dial, the triple weight driven movement with dead-beat escapement, maintaining power and subsidiary seconds, the three original weights and ebony wood rod pendulum, the brass dial with and silvered engraved centre, subsidiary seconds, signed silvered chapter ring, brass spandrels and a very finely engraved oval plaque to the break-arch engraved with Ann Hathaway’s Cottage, circa 1890. 68” x 13” x 10” |

| Swedish Wall Clocks |
A large size Swedish Gustavian Louis XVI style gilt wood late
19th century cartel wall clock retailed by Robert Engstrom, Stockholm, the
very fine gilt wood Gustavian style water gilded and hand burnished case
with trailing ribbons to the sides, surmounted by an urn to the top, the
fine quality German 8-day rectangular shaped late 19th movement chiming the
hours and half hours on a top mounted bell, the signed 10 - inch convex
white painted dial with black Arabic numerals contained within a finely
fitting gilt brass bezel with a convex glass, the finely fretted gilt
pierced brass hands in the form of foliage, circa 1890-1900, Robert Engström
was born in 1864 and died in 1926. A well-known clockmaker in Stockholm, he
specialised in gilt wood wall clocks in both Gustavian and Empire styles. He
received the Royal Warrant to Her Majesty Queen Victoria in Sweden in 1910.
he made a number of clocks for various Royal Palaces and made a major clock
for the Tammerfors Museum in Finland. |

A 1969 Omega Speed-master Professional (moon) , otherwise known as the
"Moon watch", the manual winding chronograph introduced in 1957 and made
famous by its selection by NASA for the Apollo Program. The Omega
Speed-master was the first watch worn on the moon, as Buzz Aldrin wore
his Speed-master 145.012 fitted with the Omega 321 calibre on 20 July
1969. (Neil Armstrong left his Speed-master inside the landing module
"Eagle" during his famous first walk). It is the only watch
flight-qualified for EVA use by NASA 1. It is also the watch chosen for
