 An English flame mahogany three train 8-bell quarter striking Regency longcase clock by Gravel, London, the elegant flame mahogany case with reeded quarter columns to the sides capped by Corinthian capitals, the hood surmounted by a pagoda top with three ball and spire finials, the three-train quarter striking movement chiming on 8-bells with strike/silent, the signed brass dial with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and date and rococo spandrels, circa 1820 96” x 19” x 9”

Boulle Clocks A lovely quality waisted case green tortoiseshell and cut brass French mid 19th century boulle clock with gilt bronze mounts by Archille Brocourt and Deletreze(ABD) retailed by Howell and James, to the Queen, the green tortoiseshell waisted type case with tortoiseshell and engraved cut brass sides, front and back surmounted by a gilt ormolu finial and draping foliage mounts, the French signed and numbered mid 19th century movement chiming the hours and half hours on a bell, the signed 13-piece enamel cartouche dial with Blue Roman numerals and blued steel spade type hands, this clock is in perfect condition and all the brass and tortoiseshell are in excellent order, top retailer and maker, unusual to have the back with boulle work too, circa 1870, 12” x 6 ½ ” x 4”
