A late 19th century German type walnut cased two weight Vienna antique regulator, the two weight 8-day movement with a crown stamped on the backplate, the Altdeutsch case with three-finial surmount, ornately turned columns to the hinged door over a gadrooned tapering base with further three finials, the cream enamel two-piece dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and ornately pierced blued-steel hands to the two-train weight driven movement with rack-striking on a gong and adjustable dead-beat escapement, circa 1880. 52” x 17” x 6”

A very elegant slim cased Gothic late 19th century light mahogany and ebonised German Vienna type wall antique regulator, the mahogany case of slender proportions and light colour surmounted by a architectural Gothic removable pediment top, the glazed front trunk door flanked by ebonised full length barley twist pilasters, the German fine quality two train weight driven movement with dead-beat escapement, maintaining power and wood rod pendulum chiming the hours and half hours on a gong, the two piece signed 6.5inch undamaged white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, supplied with the Vienna type winding key, circa 1890
