much sought after vintage longines Weems made for the English market, The
watch was developed as a pilots / navigators watch, designed by Commander
Philip van Horn Weems, USN and released by Longines in 1937. The watch was
issued to pilots and navigators to be used for dead reckoning Aviation
navigation. These models are becoming increasingly harder to find, Weems
Navigation Watch, one of the first aviation watches. This watch is even
rarer as its made for the English Market and has earned a lasting place in
history as one of early aviation’s most reputed wrist instruments, Circa

An early to mid 20th Century nickel cased open faced Keyless Military Pocket
Watch, Rolex A20330, the signed 15-jewel movement with bi-metallic cut
compensated balance and blued steel over coiled hair spring, to a black
enamel dial, with previously luminous Arabic numerals, outside minute track
and sunk subsidiary seconds, with further luminous fill hands, in a polished
case, with screw down back cover, marked A20330 over GS Mk II over the broad
arrow, further marked to the band and dial, circa 1939, The black dial
pocket watch was evaluated by the British Army and given the grade “General
