substantially well made polished and lacquered case with lift off lid
containing 5 original thickly cut bevelled glass panels, the 8-tier vacuum
chamber contained within a lacquered polished brass interior, the French
8-day movement with cylinder type escapement and original winding key
sitting on a cast signed and numbered bronze base with egg and dart
moulding, maker LB, numbered, 12503, circa 1920’s 14” x 8½” x 7”
