clock by Brockbank and Atkins, London, No 12471, the rectangular mahogany
case carved with flowers to the lower front plinth with a break arch top
similar carved with a sunburst design surmounted by four wooden finials, the
signed and numbered high quality chain fusee timepiece 5-pillar movement
with anchor escapement and pendulum hold fast, the signed white convex dial
with black Roman numerals, the blued spade type hands, circa 1890-1900, very
good overall condition with original paper on inside back door for dates
having been oiled. 14” x 9” x 5 ½ “
