An antique Regency brass inlaid mahogany two train quarter
chiming bracket clock by Frodsham, London, the 8-inch dial signed Frodsham,
Gracechurch St. London with strike/silent dial in the ogee shaped arch,
similarly signed two train fusee movement with shouldered footed plates,
five knopped pillars, anchor escapement, chiming the quarters on eight bells
and the hour on a further bell by means of a pumped cylinder, the case with
concave sided cresting above a carved cornice, the door , the angled front
corner and the base inlaid with brass scrolls and flowerheads, the sides
with repoussé brass handles above scale frets, gadrooned bun feet, circa
1840. 24-inches high
