An antique polished and lacquered brass French late 19th
century drum shaped four-glass clock with champleve enamel, the cast brass
drum shaped case with champleve enamel to the top and bottom, the French
signed and numbered 8-day movement by Japy striking the hours and half hours
on a gong, the white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and bordering
garlands of flowers, the pierced brass Louis XV style hands all contained
within a champleve enamel bezel, the original numbered champleve enamel twin
jar mercury pendulum, circa 1890 12” x 8” x 7” |
