gilt ormolu Louis XV style four-glass clock garniture with candlesticks, the
four-glass type white carrera marble case with gilt bronze mounts in the
form of foliage sitting on four toupee type feet, the garniture (side
pieces) in the form of two branch candlesticks with foliage bordering around
the bases, the French 8-day signed and numbered movement chiming the hours
and half hours on a bell, the white convex dial with black Arabic numerals
bordered by painted flowers, circa 1880 12½ “ x 6” x 4” |
