boxwood inlayed mantel clock surmounted by a rococo mount with a flower, the
very high quality rosewood and boxwood inlayed case inlayed to the front and
sides with flowers and foliage, sitting on four ormolu rococo style feet,
the waisted shape case decorated with gilt bronze rococo mounts, the 8-day
signed and numbered French movement striking the hours and half hours on a
gong, the 1-piece enamel cartouche dial with black Roman numerals and Arabic
outer minute markers, circa 1880, original numbered pendulum. 12” x 6 ” x 4½
