A rare and unusual large size French Black marble and gilt bronze Conical
pendulum clock by Farcot and Laurent, the engraved black marble base inlayed
with gold leaf supporting a large bronze figure of a maiden holding a wine
jug, the pendulum rotates in a conical motion from the top of her arm, the
French 8-day signed and numbered movement striking the hours and half hours
on a bell, circa 1880 36” x 20” x 12”
