mantle clock, the gilt bronze case with two cherubs to the front, the top
surmounted by a porcelain and bronze urn, the main case and base inset with
four turquoise porcelain panels depicting birds and flowers contained within
painted gilt borders, the French late 19th century signed and numbered 8-day
movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the turquoise
porcelain dial with black Roman numerals, circa 1870 14” x 12” x 5” |
