very high quality scarlet red tortoiseshell case with waisted shaped
sides, sitting on a bottom plinth, the case decorated with gilt bronze
rococo mounts in the form of rams heads and ribbons, the14-day signed
and numbered French movement striking the hours and half hours on a
bell, the enamel dial with blue Arabic numerals, circa 1870, original
numbered sun bust pendulum, the clock with Brocourt type escapement,
first time this clock is ever being sold, original locks and all keys,
full family history with the clock, UN-restored condition 30” x 9 ½ ” x
