A unusually large sized silver plated and rouge marble late 19th century French desk compendium with scroll shaped carrying handle, the original well preserved oval shaped silver plated cases containing a French spring driven 8-day clock with platform escapement, the white undamaged enamel dial with black Roman numerals surrounded by a silvered engraved mask, the still working aneroid barometer with an undamaged white enamel dial contained also with an engraved silvered mask, the mercury thermometer to the rear of the barometer with silvered engraved Fahrenheit scale, circa 1880 10" x 10" x 4"
