 An English early 18th century 30-hour hoop and spike lantern clock with single hand, the rectangular case with brass opening side doors and a steel back door, the top fret engraved with fishes, leaves and nets, the centre to the dial is engraved with scrolls, the 30-hour weight driven open frame bird-cage type movement chiming the hours on a large original bell with count-wheel striking, the 6 ½ - inch chapter ring dial with black Roman numerals, circa 1710-20 16” x 6½ “ x 8”
