 A late 19th century German type walnut cased two weight Vienna regulator, the two weight 8-day movement with a crown stamped on the backplate, the Altdeutsch case with three-finial surmount, ornately turned columns to the hinged door over a gadrooned tapering base with further three finials, the cream enamel two-piece dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and ornately pierced blued-steel hands to the two-train weight driven movement with rack-striking on a gong and adjustable dead-beat escapement, circa 1880. 52” x 17” x 6”
