An English regency 1820 Ebonised Bracket Clock By W.C Sanford, London, the elegant ebonised case inlayed with brass stringing and a break-arch top, the sides to the case with glass panels, all sitting on a moulded plinth base with brass ball feet, the signed white painted dial with black Roman numerals and blued steel Breguet hands, the fine quality 5-pillar twin wire fusee movement, striking the hours on a bell, circa 1820, this clock was purchased from a family which owned it from many generations. Size: 16” x 11 ½ “ x 7”.
